SNUG INDUSTRIES
There was one clothing line in the 90's that was synonymous with the rave scene in Canada & beyond...that line was
SNUG INDUSTRIES.
They set the standard for other companies with their aptly named
"Big Fuckin' Pants"
Massive wide-legged pants that became the uniform for all in-the-know all-night party goers like myself!
SNUG sponsored high profile DJs like BADBOYBILL
and was worn by
Nikki Sixx of Motley Crue
who paid them a surprise visit while stopping on tour in Toronto.
I was lucky enough to meet and spend time with Tony and Greg,
(owners & designers) on my first job as a clothing buyer, they made my job easy!
They were an inspiration to many and set off a spree of Toronto based clothing companies that were designed by ravers for ravers.
There is only one place i know of that still maintains a decent amount of stock in SNUG, Mudshark streetwear.
